Shrub and Tree Transplanting/Relocation
There are a number of reasons to transplant larger trees and shrubs on your property including, construction, renovation, health concerns, and safety. During new construction, the vehicles running over root zones affect many large trees negatively and can lead to their decline. While sometimes a protection plan can be devised, other times this damage is unavoidable. Landscape plants often outgrow their intended spaces and design function. They begin to compete for limited sunlight and nutrients. By transplanting the larger trees and shrubs to a more suitable site, the health and beauty of your entire landscape can be ensured.
Whether you need a large tree relocated on your property or just a few shrubs, we have the equipment and experienced crews to handle it with care and skill. Proper equipment and techniques are vital to the long-term success of the transplant.
Privacy Screening
Property screening has increasingly become sought after, as the trend toward extending the interior living space to the outdoors continues. Landscapes are not merely the scenery viewed from our windows but functional, year round spaces where we dine, entertain and relax. With this movement outdoors comes the need for privacy and quiet areas. Evergreen planting screens are the most common method to achieve this sense of privacy, providing a buffer from noise as well. Combinations of deciduous and evergreen plants, in variety of sizes, shapes and colors can create a more natural screen. Choose mature plants for immediate screening or smaller plants that will grow and fill in over time.
Specimen Selection & Planting
Specimen plants, both large shrubs and trees, add an attractive focal point to the landscape. These plants exhibit near perfect characteristics of form, foliage, & flowers. These plants make a statement in a variety of scale for any property. Whether it is a grove of trees placed near the property border; creating a vista from your back patio or a lone tree. Specimen plants add interest and aesthetic qualities to areas you wish to highlight. Our design staff will carefully work with you to select just the right plants for your specific desires.

This comprehensive evaluation and preparation will help your landscape to reach its full growth potential.
Hydroseeding
Hydroseeding is a grass planting process that has been used on everything from highways to residential lawns; the process is fast, simple, economical, and efficient. Our Hydroseeding process starts by mixing wood fiber mulch, grass seed mixture customized for your site, soluble starter fertilizer, organic bio-stimulants and water in a tank to be pumped and mixed by a specialized machine. Once the mixture is fully blended, it is then sprayed on the ground. The sprayed mixture on the ground is referred to as a blanket or a mat, the material in the mat enhances the seed geminating process and will stimulate the seeds to grow a healthy and deep root system and an even pattern of growth. Hydroseeding can provide a sod quality lawn for a fraction of the price.
Mulching
Mulch can protect your plant beds by retaining moisture and adding organic matter in the spring. In the winter, mulching your plant beds can add insulation to keep plants protected until the spring. Mulching has an aesthetic quality as well, where it provides a uniform surface in material and color while your plants are dormant.
